Lowcountry Indivisible (LCI) is pleased to invite members of all other liberal Beaufort County organizations to our monthly Zoom meeting.
Our first speaker is Joe Cunningham, candidate for SC Governor. Joe is a familiar figure to us all, having spoken a number of times in the region both as a candidate and a sitting member of Congress from SC's 1st Congressional District. He will be faced by other Democrats running for Governor in next June's primary and this will be your opportunity to hear how Joe establishes his position going into the primary as well as potentially taking on the incumbent, Governor Henry McMaster.
Our second speaker is Mark Byrne, a member of Better Ballots SC, and he will speak on the advantages of ranked choice voting, which is in place in other states.
